Amy is finally teaching her famous “Stacker Bead” technique! It is a delicious
and surprisingly simple design that she perfected 8
years ago, and has grown in popularity online and in local shops.
Students will learn step-by-step how they are made and will have plenty of time
to make their own collection, which can be made into a simple elastic bracelet
at the end of class, if time allows. It is a technique that takes time and
practice to master, but with her tips and advice, students will be ready to go
home and start rolling out their own.

Fabric Coiled Bowls with Amy E Wallace
(Single Session)
Thursday, November 20, 2008 FULL
New Date Added: Sunday, December 14, noon-3pm
$35
Using a simple recipe of rope,
fabric strips and hot glue, students will create, from beginning to end, their
own fabric coiled bowl. This technique is not new to the world, however Amy’s
use of color, pattern and her own handmade embellishments landed her a spot on
HGTV’s “That’s Clever!”. All supplies will be provided but you may purchase
your own fabric from the shop if something catches your eye. This is a
two-handed process, so good manual dexterity is important.
